Welcome to "Aspects of Life"
Practice for Psychotherapy
Systemic Therapy and Counseling
- Certified Systemic Family Therapist
- Bachelor of Psychology (APA-ICP, Germiston)
- Licensed to practice psychotherapy by the public health department
I was born in 1969 in North-Germany and I've been working in my practice in Schweinfurt since 2006.
Many years ago, I worked for an American organisation. I also have taught English on the side for about six years. Therefore, I can offer therapy and counseling not only in German, but in English as well.
Next to my work, I love reading, music, doing sports and spending time in nature. I'm also doing volunteer work as a member of a Lutheran church board.
Aspects of Life
The German title of my practice "Aspekte des Lebens" begins with a spiral. It symbolizes life, that starts at some point and develops different kind of aspects of life on the way. These may include personality traits, supportive or difficult relationships, experiencing defeat or success, disappointments or joy. The loss of a loved one, an ability or a dream, as well as experiencing any kind of abuse, can make life seem unbearable. Some people stay healthy, others develop physical or mental illnesses such as depression or an anxiety disorder.
As a result, a person might have the focus on some of these challenging issues in life.
Therapy and Counseling
Sometimes it is helpful to get support through another person to deal with these challenges in life. Or to get help to cope with stress and burnout, or to make an important decision.
This is where I come in to offer my help and support. My therapeutic counseling includes exercises and methods of the systemic therapy. I would like to help you to cope with difficulties in your life, and help you (re)discover and strengthen resources you have in and around you.
If you are considering coming to me for therapy or counseling, feel free to make an appointment for a nonbinding first session. You can contact me via phone or email for more information about my fees, my work or to make an appointment.
"May you live all the days of your life!"
